Sheridan's Cael Hamrick Signs for Baseball at Hutchinson CC

Playing baseball at the next level is in the future of Sheridan senior Cael Hamrick, who recently committed to Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Hamrick is a two-time all-state selection in Wyoming American Legion Baseball. He was a unanimous first-team all-state pick in the 2023 season.

Last summer, Cael led the Sheridan Troopers with a .421 batting average. Hamrick had 85 total hits, which included 26 extra-base hits. He finished with 38 RBIs and 71 runs scored. Cael also had 29 stolen bases. He helped Sheridan to a 41-22 overall record in the 2023 Wyoming Legion Baseball season. The Troopers went 13-1 in conference games and earned the top seed at the AA State Tournament.

Hamrick was a second-team all-state choice in 2022. He hit .307 with 46 total hits and 43 RBIs.

Hutchinson CC is in Hutchinson, KS. The Blue Dragons compete at the NJCAA level and are a member of the Jayhawk Community College Conference in Region 6.
