Sheridan High School senior Hannah Sullivan will continue her throwing career in college after recently signing with Black Hills State University.

Sullivan is a three-year letter winner in outdoor track and field and a four-year letter winner in indoor track for the Broncs.

She finished four at the 2022 Wyoming Indoor Track State Championships in the shot put with a toss of 37-7.25. Sullivan took ninth as a junior in 2021 in the same event.

At the 2021 Wyoming High School State Track Championships in Casper, Sullivan placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 114-02.

Her season bests during the 2022 outdoor track season are 40-1 in the shot put and 122-2 in the discus. Sullivan has already pre-qualified for this year's state track meet in both events.

She plans to major in environmental science at Black Hills State. BHSU is located in Spearfish, SD. The Yellow Jackets compete at the NCAA Division II level and are part of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
