The final weekend in the regular season for skiers is here. Only one of the two high school skiing disciplines offered at the prep level in Wyoming competes. Alpine skiers head to Pinedale for two days of racing. Nordic skiers are off this week as they prepare for the state championships next weekend in Laramie.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SKIING SCHEDULE AND RESULTS WEEK 10

The Pinedale Invitational is at White Pines Ski Area. They will compete in two days of giant slalom on Friday and Saturday. Both days start at 10 a.m., and all racing is on the Wind River Ski Run. The varsity girls will race first, and then the varsity boys.

Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, and Pinedale will compete at White Pines.

FRIDAY RACE RESULTS

Jackson swept the first day. Dylan Witherite won the girls' race with a two-run combined time of 1:59.18. Teammates Neve Pruzan and Lily Steinberg followed in second and third place.

For the boys', Nico Tozzi of Jackson continued his recent dominance with another win. He skied the two GS runs at 1:44.66. Teammate Adi Wetzler took second, and Pinedale's James Tolson finished third on his home hill.

SATURDAY RACE RESULTS

Jackson's Dylan Witherite and Nico Tozzi completed the weekend sweep. Witherite won the girls' day two GS at 1:54.22. She was followed by her teammates, Steinberg and Pruzan. Tozzi won with a combined time of 1:38.32. Adi Wetzler and Lucas Milligan of Jackson were second and third.

Girls Team Scores = Jackson 152, Cody 68, NC 59, Pinedale 35, KW 23, Laramie 4.

Boys Team Scores = Jackson 155, Pinedale 100, NC 43, Laramie 22, KW 20, Cody 2.
