For the first time in 4 years, the Star Valley boys qualified for the State Tournament and finished the year at 16-11. The Braves did have a couple of double-digit scorers in Taylor Horsley and Dean Shaw, who averaged 11 points a game each. At the State Tournament, Star Valley had a very tough encounter with Cheyenne East which resulted in a 79-36 loss. The Braves endured a rough shooting day, going 23% from the floor. RJ Cazier and Mason Erickson led the way with 8 points each. In the consolation round, the Braves were far more competitive but lost to Cheyenne Central 51-40. Horsely was Star Valley's leading scorer with 10. This program has 6 winning seasons in the last 8 years and the bulk of their scoring will return next season.
