
Wyoming High School Boys Swimming Scoreboard: Dec. 27-28, 2024
It is an abbreviated third week of the Wyoming High School boys’ swimming and diving season. After a brief stop for the holiday, some teams take a break from competition, while others will continue their season. Laramie has two days of action with six teams involved, and Gillette will host a one-day swim meet with five schools competing.
Here is the schedule for Week 3 of the high school boys’ swimming and diving season. The schedule is subject to change.
Friday, Dec. 27:
LARAMIE PRE-HOLIDAY INVITE (non-scored) – Green River, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins.
Saturday, Dec. 28:
GILLETTE REINDEER HOLIDAY OPEN – Buffalo, Campbell County, Natrona County, Newcastle, Thunder Basin, Worland.
The Camels won 7 of the 12 events. Brady Hunt won the 200-freestyle and 100-butterfly races. Gio Monterastelli of Buffalo won the 100-freestyle and 100-backstroke races.
Team Scores = Buffalo 313, Campbell County 273, Natrona County 165, Worland 147, Thunder Basin 144, Newcastle 34.
LARAMIE HOLIDAY INVITATIONAL – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Green River, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins.
Lander's Finn Richards swept the sprint freestyle races to lead the Tigers. Green River's Colin Gilmore won the 200 & 500 freestyle races.
Team Scores = Lander 310, Laramie 298, Central 244, Green River 202, East 108, Rawlins 95.
