Boys’ swimming and diving teams in the Cowboy State return to competition for their first action of the new year. This includes some teams that took some time off over the holiday break. It is the second straight abbreviated week of the season. Cheyenne, Lander, and Worland have three or four-team swim meets. Kemmerer hosts their holiday swim meet with six teams competing on Saturday.

Here is the schedule for Week 4 of the high school boys’ swimming and diving season in Wyoming. The schedule is subject to change.

Friday, Jan. 3:

CENTRAL TRI – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South.

Team Scores = East 131 South 26; Central 129 South 30; Central 113 East 67.

LANDER HOLIDAY QUAD – Buffalo, Cody, Kemmerer, Lander.

Team Scores = Lander 441, Cody 285, Buffalo 272, Kemmerer 135.

Powell 98 Worland 57 – dual

 

Saturday, Jan. 4:

KEMMERER HOLIDAY INVITATIONAL – Evanston, Kemmerer, Lyman, Rawlins, Sublette County.

The Eagles won 6 of the 12 events, including 2 relays. Lyman's Evan Bentley took the 100 fly and 100 back. Mason Aimone won the IM and breaststroke races. Malachi Villareal of Kemmerer won the 200 & 400 free.

Team Scores = Lyman 94, Kemmerer 53, Evanston 41, Rawlins 28, Sublette County 21.
