Cowboys and cowgirls have a week off to prepare for the last Wyoming High School Rodeo of the season.

This week is an off week for cowboys and cowgirls, as they prepare for the State Finals Rodeo, which runs from June 12-14 at the State Fairgrounds in Douglas.

Cowboys and cowgirls will spend this weekend in Douglas, getting a feel of the location of the State High School Finals, which will be held in 2 weeks.

It's a 3-day weekend, and that means cowboys and cowgirls have an extra day of competition.

There's a little less than one month to go, before the state finals.

Cowboys and cowgirls will stay in the northeast part of the state, as Gillette will host this weekend's competition.

The Wyoming High School Rodeo Circuit moves from one corner of the state, to the other, Newcastle will host competition this weekend.

The Wyoming High School Rodeo Circuit will head back to southwest Wyoming, and compete in Big Piney this weekend.

Cowboys and cowgirls will test out Rock Springs this weekend...the site of the National High School Finals Rodeo.
