This is the last weekend of basketball action. Eight boys’ teams will play for a championship in Class 3A and 4A in Casper.

The Thunder Basin Bolts won their first boys' basketball state championship beating Cheyenne East, 52-42, in the 4A title game Saturday night in Casper.

The Douglas Bearcats continued their dominance in 3A girls’ basketball with their fourth straight state championship on Saturday night in Casper.

In a battle of undefeated teams, the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds were too much for the Cody Fillies for the second straight year in a 51-41 victory on Saturday in Casper.

Ashton Barto scored 17 points to lead the Rawlins Outlaws to their first state basketball championship in 25 years.
