This is the last weekend of basketball action. Eight boys’ teams will play for a championship in Class 3A and 4A in Casper.

The Ford Wyoming Center (FWC) and Natrona County High School (NCHS) will serve as the host sites.

They begin chasing that dream on Thursday.

The defending champions are Thunder Basin in 4A and Rawlins in 3A. The Bolts seek back-to-back titles, while the Outlaws did not qualify for this year’s state tournament.

Final Score: Game 5: Lyman 48 Douglas 47 - semifinal - Eagles make their first title game since 2007 (2A) and first in 3A since 2000.

Final Score: Game 6: Worland 55 Buffalo 48 - semifinal - Warriors back to the title game after last winning it all in 2021.

SATURDAY, MARCH 11:

Final Score: Game 10: Powell 65 Lovell 56 – Consolation Trophy Game

Final Score: Game 12: Douglas 45 Buffalo 38  – 3rd Place Game

Final Score: Game 7: Worland 37 Lyman 35 – Championship Game - Warriors win their 5th title in school history, first since 2021. Clark led Worland with 13 pts, Gilmore added 11, and Page had the most rebs with 6. B. Bradshaw for Lyman had 20 pts and 5 rebs.

Final Score: Game 12: Cody 57 Campbell County 50 – 3rd Place Game - Broncs shot 67 percent in the 2nd half.

Final Score: Game 7: Cheyenne East 68 Laramie 59 – Championship Game - Thunderbirds win the third title in school history and first since 2006. They had 4 players in double figures. Schlabs scored 18, Jackson 17, Mirich 14 points, and Hayes had 12. For the Plainsmen, Brown scored 26 pts and had 5 rebs. Summers added a double-double of 13 pts and 11 rebs.
