Big Horn High School sprinter Gavin Stafford was chosen as the 2023-24 winner of the Gatorade Wyoming Boys Track and Field Player of the Year on Thursday.

Sheridan’s Addie Pendergast has won her second straight Gatorade Wyoming Girls Track and Field Player of the Year award on Tuesday.

The 2024 all-class Wyoming High School State Track Championships are Thursday through Saturday in Casper.

The first of the two-part Wyoming High School track and field postseason is this weekend, as the regional track meets are at six locations in the state.

Week 8 is the final week of the regular season for high school track and field teams across Wyoming.

Ashlyn Mundell of Elite Solutions, Lily Nichols from Wheatland and Caleb Ortberg of Kelly Walsh won 2 events each.

It will be another busy week for track and field student-athletes around Wyoming.

Aiming to bring together the best track and field athletes in the state, the Wyoming Track and Field Classic is in Casper on Friday, weather permitting.
