The Last WyoPreps Volleyball Rankings of 2022
The final WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Poll saw two teams go wire-to-wire at top-ranked teams.
Kelly Walsh in Class 4A and Big Horn in Class 2A stayed at the top of their respective classification all throughout the rankings in the 2022 season.
Mountain View topped the 3A rankings for the sixth time this year, and Southeast was in the top spot for the sixth straight week in the 1A division.
The final poll had three total changes.
One of those came in Class 4A. Natrona County re-entered the final poll at No. 5 after they were on the outside of the previous two rankings. The top four was the same with the Trojans at No. 1. They received nine of the 12 first-place votes. Thunder Basin got two first-place votes, and Cody earned one first-place vote. The Bolts and Fillies were second and third. Laramie remained fourth.
Class 2A and 1A both saw teams flip spots.
In 2A, the Rams garnered 11 of the 13 first-place votes for the top position. Wright received the other two first-place votes and moved up to second. That pushed Burns down to third. The Panthers and Broncs were separated by nine points in the voting. Rocky Mountain and Kemmerer rounded out the poll in fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Cyclones topped the 1A rankings with 10 of the 14 first-place votes. Riverside got the other four and stayed second. Cokeville climbed to third, which dropped Hulett to fourth. Kaycee remained at No. 5.
Class 3A had no changes for the third straight poll. Mountain View retained the No. 1 ranking with ten of the 12 first-place votes. Both Lyman and Wheatland also received one first-place vote. They stayed second and third, respectively. Powell and Douglas completed the top five.
