Natrona’s Thomas Stokes Signs with Jamestown for Baseball

Casper Legion baseball player and Natrona County student-athlete Thomas Stokes will continue his career on the diamond at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. Stokes was an all-state pitcher this past season for the Casper Oilers and named all-state twice for the Casper Drillers. This past season, Stokes went 4-2 with an ERA of 2.91 with 57 strikeouts in 55 innings. His WHIP was 1.536 and walked 35 batters with a velocity of 83-85 MPH with his fastball.

At the plate, Stokes hit .312 with 30 hits with an on-base percentage of .459 with an on-base slugging percentage of .813

The Jimmies of Jamestown is an NAiA institution and their baseball program went 27-19 in the spring season of 2023.
