Three Valor Vikings baseball players have chosen to play at the next level with the Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) Lumberjacks.

Shortstop Alex DeBoer, pitcher/catcher Hunter Davis, and third baseman Nathan Davaiu are heading to Bottineau, ND.

They’ll be joined by teammate and outfielder Chris Castleman (not pictured), who will join the program as a preferred walk-on.

All four players helped Valor win the Senior Babe Ruth state championship in 2023.

At the plate this season, Davis hit .271 with 19 RBIs and had a .510 on-base percentage. That was accompanied by a .943 fielding percentage. Davis also earned player of the week honors at the regional tournament in Canada earlier this year.
