The Thunder Basin girls basketball team, in just their 2nd year of existence will play for the 4A championship on Saturday as they downed Star Valley 66-42 in the semi-final round on Friday night at the Casper Events Center. Thunder Basin had a 17-9 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back as they shot 46% in the 2nd half. Jersie Taylor led the Bolts with 11 points while Molly Strub and Madison Miller each had 10. Thunder Basin also connected on 7, 3 pointers in the contest. Abby Coles led Star Valley with 13 points and Olivia Muir had 10. Thunder Basin will play Cheyenne East for the 4A championship on Saturday night at the Events Center
