Coming off a runner-up finish in 2019, the Thunder Basin Bolts are looking to be a contender again in Class 4A volleyball.

The Bolts are 6-2 this season with their only losses on the road at top-ranked Laramie and No. 4 Cheyenne East.

Thunder Basin returns one all-state player in Elsa Clark, who is playing despite an injury before the start of her senior season.

In the video above, WyoPreps had an opportunity after a recent match in Laramie to visit with head coach Wennett Martin and junior Hannah Durgin. They reflected on the match they lost to Laramie, but more about the season to this point, areas of improvement, and realizing there is a lot of season remaining.

The Bolts have conference matches against Sheridan and Kelly Walsh on Friday and Saturday.
