The Thunder Basin Volleyball team certainly proved their mettle at this year's state tournament in Casper with a strong 2nd place finish. The Bolts knocked off Rock Springs in the opening round 3-0 and rallied from 2-0 down to beat Cheyenne East in the semi-finals. The Bolts were also down 2-0 in the 4A championship match before rallying to tie things up at 2-2 before falling in the 5th set. The Bolts had a terrific 2-time all-state player in Rigan McInerney who started her career in Sundance. She was one of just 3 seniors on this year's that went 31-8. Junior Elsa Clark made all-state in 2019 and then the team can build around her for 2020. Here's a short video from the state tournament to show you. Enjoy!
