Thunder Basin quarterback Mason Hamilton will headed across the border to Nebraska to play football at Chadron State. He is a two time all state selection in 4A and in 2019, Hamilton threw 2561 yards with 27 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions. He completed 57% of his passes and threw for 213 yards per game. His best game was against Gillette where he amassed 382 yards through the air with 4 touchdown passes.

Back in 2018, Hamilton was phenomenal throw 31 TD passes with just 6 interceptions. All told, he threw for 2592 yards with a 61% completion rate. In that season, Hamilton had 3 games in which he threw for over 300 yards including a 375 yard effort against Natrona with 4 touchdown throws.

He also was a 2nd team all conference selection in 4A basketball averaging 8 points per game and shooting 49% from the field in the two point range.
