The second half of the regular season began last week with Week 5 for prep football teams in the Cowboy State. Three more undefeated teams lost for the first time last Friday. Cody, Evanston, and Mountain View lost conference games to other ranked teams. The Broncs fell to No. 1 Star Valley in a thrilling overtime game. The Red Devils fell to third-ranked Jackson. Finally, the Buffalos were beaten by No. 3 Cokeville. Mountain View’s loss ended the state’s longest winning streak. That means 4A Natrona County has the longest current winning streak in Wyoming High School football at six games.

WYOPREPS SIXTH HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STANDINGS IN 2026

Six teams are still perfect in the 2026 season. The 9-man division still has the most, with three undefeated squads. That’s Greybull, Rocky Mountain, and Saratoga. They will play each other over the next three weeks. In addition to NC, the Casper Christian Mountaineers are also unbeaten in Class 1A 6-man. Eight schools still seek their first victory of the year. Buffalo, Tongue River, and Dubois earned their first win in Week 5. Thunder Basin was the only unranked team to beat a ranked opponent, with their victory over rival Campbell County. Here are the standings through October 3, 2026.

The standings are based on a school’s conference record first and then their overall record. Teams that are tied are listed in alphabetical order unless a head-to-head result can break the tie.
