The second half of the 2026 Wyoming High School football season begins with Week 5. This week's games are only on Friday and Saturday. It features some fantastic top-five matchups. Four of the top five square off in Class 3A, including No. 1 hosting No. 2. Two more top-five showdowns are on the slate in Class 2A. The last big game on the schedule is on Saturday in Class 1A 6-man.

WYOPREPS WEEK 5 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SCHEDULE IN 2026

The battle atop Class 3A will be in Afton on Friday. Second-ranked Cody visits No. 1 Star Valley. The Braves have won seven straight in the series. No. 4 Evanston heads to Jackson to face the third-ranked Broncs. Those two have split their last four matchups. Two big games are in the 2A West Conference. No. 3 Cokeville hosts second-ranked and defending champion Mountain View on Friday afternoon. They've split the last six games. Pinedale has a big game for the second week in a row. The fifth-ranked Wranglers take on the No. 4 Bobcats in Thermopolis. The Bobcats have won six straight against Pinedale. Finally, new No. 2 Casper Christian visits Encampment to face the fourth-ranked Tigers on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers seek their first win in the series.

Final Score: #1 Natrona County 60 Cheyenne South 0 - NC led 50-0 by halftime.

Final Score: #2 Sheridan 35 Laramie 27 - Laramie led 14-0, but Sheridan responded with 2 TDs on returns. The Broncs added 3 more scores before the Plainsmen rallied within 8, but Sheridan ran out the clock. Crow ran for 238 yards and 1 TD for the Broncs. Laramie got 148 yards receiving and 3 total TDs from Kirsch.

Final Score: #3 Cheyenne East 38 Kelly Walsh 7 - The Thunderbirds led 31-0 by halftime.

Final Score: #4 Cheyenne Central 52 Rock Springs 13 - Richards and Sack ran for 2 TDs each, as Central jumped out to a 49-0 lead.

Final Score: Thunder Basin 15 #5 Campbell County 14 - Bolts scored late and added a 2-point conversion to win the Razor City rivalry.

Final Score: #1 Star Valley 28 #2 Cody 27 (conference game) - OT - The Braves tied the game with 22 seconds left in regulation on a 12-yard TD catch by Thomson and converted the 2-point try. SV scored first in OT. Broncs strike back, but their 2-point conversion for the win was deflected by the Braves.

Final Score: #3 Jackson 41 #4 Evanston 14 (conference game)

Final Score: #5 Riverton 24 Lander 21 (conference game) - The Wolverines kicked the go-ahead 33-yard field goal with 1:07 to go in the game. Then, got the game-sealing interception with 41 seconds left. Riverton scored 17 unanswered points.
