The Tongue River Eagles went 10-17 this past season but also qualified for the 2A State Tournament with 3 wins in the West Regional Tournament. During the regular season, the Eagles endured a 5 game losing streak and their longest winning streak was 2. Tongue River beat Kemmerer twice in that regional and had a key win over Greybull to punch their ticket to state. At the state get together, the Eagles lost to Big Horn 74-38 as Cade Reish had 18 points on 7-16 from the field. In the consolation round, Tongue River was eliminated by Wright 75-56 as Jackson Clair threw in 16 and Nick Summers had 11. This team had just one senior and just one player who averaged in double figures. Next year, the squad will have 5 seniors and 4 juniors.
