Torrington senior Juan-Carlos Stevens, II, will be playing soccer at the next level after a recent signing.

He will be attending Missouri Baptist University.

Stevens, II is a two-year varsity letterman for the Blazers. He has been a defenseman for three years at THS. He has one career goal and one assist on seven shots over the last two seasons.

This year Torrington is 4-4 and 3-3 in conference play. Stevens, II has assisted on one goal.

He helped the Blazers to a second-place finish in the 2022 season. Torrington was 13-5 last season. They won the 3A East Regional and were 3A East Conference champions in the regular season.

As a sophomore, he helped THS to an overall record of 11-4-2 and an 8-0-2 mark in conference matches.

Stevens, II also played football for Torrington.

Missouri Baptist is in Creve Coeur, MO. The Spartans compete at the NAIA level and are in the American Midwest Conference.
