Upton-Sundance went on the road looking for their first win of the season and in a hard-fought game, the Patriots held off Moorcroft 13-0 on Friday night. Upton Sundance was coming off a 15-8 decision to Wheatland and lost their season opener to Newcastle. But the Patriot defense came to play and the offense made enough plays to win.

Rhett Watt led the way on offense for Upton-Sundance with a touchdown run in the first quarter to make it 7-0. The defenses for both teams dug in and there wasn't another score until the 4th quarter when Watt recorded another rushing touchdown. The Patriots have missed the playoffs for the last two seasons but made the postseason for 10 straight years from 2012-2021.

Upton-Sundance is 1-2 and will be at home this week to take on Tongue River. Moorcroft is 1-3 but has played some solid defense over the course of the last 3 games. The Wolves have a big challenge this week with a road game at Big Horn.
