Upton senior Alyson Louderback has signed to play volleyball in college at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD.

Louderback was a two-time all-state and three-time all-conference selection for the Bobcats. She was a team captain her last two seasons at UHS.

The Bobcats went 17-9-3 during the 2021 season. Louderback had 318 kills, 48 total blocks, and a .179 hitting percentage last fall.

Over her four-year career, Alyson finished with 843 kills, 222 total blocks, and 64 service aces.

In 2019, Louderback helped Upton win the 1A East Regional Championship and place third at the Class 1A State Tournament.

In the classroom, Alyson maintains a 3.93 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Louderback also plays basketball for the Bobcats. She’s helped them to an 18-3 record this season and the No. 1 ranking in the final Class 1A WyoPreps Coaches and Media Girls Basketball Poll ahead of the postseason.

She’s projected to be a right-side hitter for the Yellow Jackets. Black Hills State went 8-18 in women’s volleyball last fall. They compete at the D-II level and are part of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
