Rocky Mountain senior Brittly Boettcher will further her volleyball career after signing with Dickinson State University. Boettcher was a three-year starter and four-year letter-winner for the Grizzlies on the volleyball court. She helped Rocky Mountain to the 2A volleyball state tournament all four years of her prep career.

Boettcher was a three-time Class 2A Northwest all-conference honoree and was selected all-state for the 2024 season. Brittly was picked by the coaches as the 2A Northwest and 2A West Region Player of the Year last fall. She finished the 2024 season with 302 kills, 387 digs, and 60 total blocks. Boettcher added 56 service aces and had a server percentage of 95 percent for the season. Her efforts helped the Grizzlies win the 2A West Regional championship. They finished the 2024 2A volleyball state tournament with a 1-2 record.

A three-sport student-athlete, Boettcher also plays basketball and runs track at RMHS. She has helped the Grizzlies to the 2A basketball state tournament in her first three years and was a member of Rocky Mountain’s 2022 state championship team. Boettcher has also qualified for the state track championships in her first three years at the prep level.

Dickinson State University is in Dickinson, ND. The Blue Hawks compete at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics. They are members of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference. Boettcher’s dad is a graduate of DSU.
