The best prep volleyball players in the state gathered in Casper for the annual Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star Game on Saturday in what turned out to be a competitive match.

The South won the first 2 sets 25-20 and 25-12 with the North coming back to take set 3 25-14. The South clinched the match with a 29-27 victory in the 4th set and the North won the 5th and final set 15-12.

The South was led by Katie Banks of Green River with 7 kills. Kassidy Nelson of Lyman and Olyvia Pacheco of Rawlins had 5 kills each. Pacheco added 16 assists with Kaylie Critchfield of Evanston recording 11.

The North got an astounding 20 kills from Cody's Paige Powell with Natrona's Grace Dubay adding 11 kills. Sheridan's Taylor Lee had 16 assists with Grace Trandahl of Wright having 7.
