Ballard Johnson graduated from Star Valley High School in 1974 and started coaching at the school in 1981. He was certainly a busy guy as he served as a head coach and assistant coach for football, basketball and track. Needless to say, Johnson has enjoyed a ton of success with the various Star Valley programs as he was a part of 11 state championships and 13 2nd place finishes. Johnson played in the very first Shrine Bowl football game and coached in the all-start game twice. His coaching career has spanned 40 years and 87 seasons. You don't see that very often.
