As schools return from winter break, the action on the mats picks up. Plenty of duals occur throughout the week, most taking place on Thursday. There are a few tournaments this weekend, including the Shane Shatto Memorial in Douglas. Also in the state, the Wind River Duals are on Saturday.

Chadron (NE) leads the girls' division of the Memorial with 130.5 pts. Cheyenne East is 2nd, Natrona County is 3rd, and Sheridan is 4th. 

Girls Tournament of Champions in Vernal, UT = Evanston, Green River, Lyman, Pinedale, Rawlins, Rock Springs

Pinedale is currently 2nd after Day 1, top of all Wyoming teams with 92.5 pts. Rawlins is 7th, Lyman is 8th, Evanston is 14th, Green River is 17th, and Rock Springs is 19th. 

Hettinger Classic in Hettinger, SD = Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance

Newcastle is 5th, Moorcroft is 6th, and Sundance is 12th after Day 1. 

Madison Invite in Rexburg, ID = Star Valley

Star Valley leads all teams at the Madison Invite after Day 1 with 105.5 pts. 

Rockwell Rumble in Herriman, UT = Kemmerer

The Rangers are 15th after one day of competition.

The Braves are in 2nd after one day of action with 69 pts.

After Day 1, Green River is in 2nd, the best score of any Wyoming team with 119 pts. Rock Springs is 8th, Pinedale is 10th, Rawlins is 13th, Lyman is 16th, and Cokeville is 26th.

The Chadron (NE) girls took home 1st place. Cheyenne East took 2nd, only losing by 0.5 pts. Halley House took 1st place at 135 lbs for the T-Birds. Sheridan finished 3rd and Natrona County was 4th. 

Wind River Duals in Wind River HS = Big Piney, Greybull/Riverside, Rocky Mountain, Wind River, Wyoming Indian

Girls Tournament of Champions in Vernal, UT = Evanston, Green River, Lyman, Pinedale, Rawlins, Rock Springs

Pinedale finished the best of Wyoming teams in 4th. McKinzie Mortensen was 1st at 105 lbs for the Wranglers. Lyman was 7th, Evanston was 8th, Rawlins was 9th, Rock Springs took 14th, and Green River finished 15th. 

Hettinger Classic in Hettinger, SD = Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance

Newcastle finished 4th, the best of the 3 Wyoming teams. Dogies had 3 wrestlers place in 3rd, Harmony Sullivan, Ayonna Hunter, and Netanya Prell. Moorcroft was 6th and Sundance finished 12th. 

Madison Invite in Rexburg, ID = Star Valley

Star Valley won the Invite and scored 227 pts behind 2 1st place finishes by Veil Foreman and Cara Andrews. 

Rockwell Rumble in Herriman, UT = Kemmerer 

Kemmerer finished 12th and had 1 1st place wrestler, Laynee Walker. 

Tournament of Knights in Severance, CO = Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne South

Cheyenne Central finished 9th and Cheyenne South was 15th. Zuri Saunders was 2nd at 130 lbs for the Indians. Trinity Warner was 3rd at 100 lbs for the Bison.

Thunder Basin won the Shane Shatto with 281 pts and had 2 1st-place wrestlers, Cort Catlin and Lucas Stirling. Cheyenne East was 2nd, Kelly Walsh finished 3rd, and Sheridan took 4th. 

Wind River Duals at Wind River HS = Big Piney, Greybull/Riverside, Rocky Mountain, Wind River, Wyoming Indian

Hettinger Classic in Hettinger, SD = Moorcroft, Sundance

Moorcroft finished 2nd behind 2 1st place wins of Dayne Humes and Oliver Gorsuch. Sundance was 12th. 

Madison Invite in Rexburg, ID = Star Valley

The Braves finish 2nd with 158.5 pts. Tel Parry and Kooper Burk won their respective weight classes for Star Valley. 

Tournament of Champions in Vernal, UT = Cokeville, Green River, Lyman, Pinedale, Rawlins, Rock Springs

Green River finished the highest of Wyoming's teams in 4th. The Wolves' Bentley Johnson took 1st at 106 lbs. Pinedale was 8th, Rawlins was 9th, Rock Springs took 13th, Lyman took 17th, and Cokeville was 29th.
