From Tournaments to Duals: Wyoming Wrestling Turns the Corner in Week 6
Wyoming prep wrestlers are past the 2026 season's midpoint. In Week 6, the schedule shifts to fewer tournaments and more duals. Two major tournaments remain: Moorcroft's Dylan Humes Memorial, hosting nearly 30 teams, and Lander's Invite, drawing almost 25 teams this Friday and Saturday.

Thunder Ridge from Idaho has a large lead in the team standings. Evanston is 2nd, and Green River is 3rd. Pinedale has 7 semifinal wrestlers. Kemmerer and Powell each have 5 wrestlers in the semifinals, and Evanston has 4.
Tiara Challenge in Castle Rock, CO = Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East.
Cheyenne East is tied for 11th, and Central is 15th after the first day. East has 7 wrestlers in the championship bracket, and Central has 6.

Thunder Ridge from Idaho won the team title. Pinedale took 2nd, and Evanston and Kemmerer tied for 3rd. The Wranglers, Red Devils, and Rangers all had 1 title winner.
Chadron Girls Invitational in Chadron, NE = Douglas.
Douglas placed 13th with 47 team points with 3 placers.
Gator Girls Invitational in Westminster, CO = Cheyenne South.
Teagan Plumblee won the 170-pound Silver bracket title.
River City Rumble Girls Invite in Chamberlain, SD = Upton.
The Bobcats finished in 6th place with 58 points and three 3rd-place efforts.
Tiara Challenge in Castle Rock, CO = Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East.
Cheyenne East placed 8th, and Cheyenne Central was 13th. Central's Zuri Sanders was runner-up at 135. East's Abigail Clay finished 3rd at 235.

Cody won the team title with 216.5 points. The Broncs had 2 champions in Jonah Schulz (138) and Cinch Dalton (215). Green River placed second, and Kelly Walsh was third.
Chadron Invitational at Chadron, NE = Cheyenne Central, Natrona County.
Natrona County won the team crown with 289 points. The Mustangs had 4 champions. That was Michael Brody Keith (120), Brodey Wilcox (165), Michael Swan (215), and Jayce Spears (285). Cheyenne Central was 6th with one champ, Campbell Smith (150).
River City Rumble Invite in Chamberlain, SD = Upton.
Upton was 9th with 62.5 team points. The Bobcats had two second-place finishers and one who took third.
