2025 Wyoming High School State Championships Preview
We have reached the final week of the 2024-25 Wyoming High School Wrestling season. The culminating event is in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center from Thursday, February 27 through Saturday, March 1. Girls and boys will wrestle on all seven mats throughout the three days with champions being crowned on Saturday.
WYOPREPS STATE WRESTLING PREVIEW
The defending champions are Star Valley (Girls; also won in 2023), Moorcroft (2A), Green River (3A - now in 4A - so a new champ in 3A), and Thunder Basin (4A).
Three wrestlers are trying to join the rare four-time champions club. Nathan Fish of Lingle-Ft. Laramie/Southeast, Roany Proffit of Kemmerer, and Liam Fox from Cheyenne East.
Six wrestlers seek a third title of their prep career: McKinzie Mortensen (Pine), Becca Oetken (Sher), Dayne Humes (Moor), Ryan Nutt (Pine), Trey Smith (Cody), and Tel Parry (SV). Many others are also trying to repeat or win a second title.
