The Wright Panthers posted their first 20+ win season in 15 years and took 5th place at the State Tournament back in March. However, in the opening round of state tourney, the Panthers struggled mightily from the free throw line in a 63-53 loss to Wyoming Indian. Wright was 13-32 from the charity stripe and was led in scoring by Cody Thompson with 13. Logan Robb pulled down 15 rebounds in that contest. The Panthers still had a tough time at the free throw line in the consolation round but had enough to beat Tongue River 75-56. Cody Thompson was terrific in that game for Wright with 26 points. Jayden Vasquez added 15 with Logan Robb getting 15 caroms. In the season, finale, Wright held off Glenrock 52-48 with Ace Leithead throwing in 18. Thompson had 14 with Logan Robb having another solid game on the boards with 17. Thompson and Robb were all-state selections averaging 15 and 12 points apiece. Robb was a rebounding machine averaging 13 a game. It will be a whole new world for Wright next season as they'll have to replace 9 seniors, which included their top 3 scorers
