PhotoFest! Wright Cross Country Meet

The Cross Country season has been zooming along with regionals and the state meet coming up later this month. On Saturday, Wright played host to the Brittany Rentas Memorial at the Hay Creek Golf Course and the weather had that touch of fall in it.

For the boys, Wright's Tobyn Teigen was the runaway winner with a time of 17.47.5 with Owen Partridge of Glenrock 2nd. coming in at 18:51.48. In 3rd was Angel Villegas from Sundance in 19.24.77 with Sam Loyning of Rocky Mountain 4th and Joseph Kimbrell of Wright 5th.

Glenrock finished 1st in the boys team standings with 27 points,l Wright was 2nd with 31 and Rock Mountain 3rd with 39. On the girl's side of the meet, Wright's Carolina Navarro had a nice run to take 1st place in 22.58.80, Kennley Blackburn of Glenrock was 2nd in 23.07.51 and her teammate Gillian Holman was 3rd with a clocking of 23.58.86. Caemlyn Nolte of Wright placed 4th and Maddison Neiman from Sundance was 5th.
