Wyatt Trembly of Dubois Commits to Black Hills St. for Football
Wyatt Trembly has proven time and time again to be a yardage and touchdown machine at the 1A 6-Man level. He will be taking his skills to Spearfish, South Dakota to play for Black Hills State in the fall. He has been named All-State 3 times and in the 2023 season, Trembly rushed for 2201 yards and an astounding 51 touchdowns which led 6-Man. He averaged 220 yards per game running the football and also made 192 tackles on defense, which also led 6-man. In his junior season, Trembly led 6-Man again in rushing yardage with 2502 along with 43 touchdowns. He had 156 tackles on defense and was 2nd in 6-Man football. He was productive as a sophomore with 1634 yards on the ground and 26 TDs with 143 tackles.
Trembly also has excelled in wrestling as he is the two-time 2A State Champion at 170 pounds, with a record of 45-1 as a junior and 40-4 as a sophomore. He finished 2nd at 152 as a freshman and is currently ranked #1 at 190 pounds by Wyowrestling.com.
Trembly also has made a name for himself in track and field as he won the 1A Outdoor State Championship in the 300 hurdles in 2023 and took 2nd in the 110 hurdles. He was 2nd in the 300 at the 2022 State Championships and 3rd in the 110 and as a freshman in 2021, Trembly was 5th in the 110 and 300 hurdle events/
Black Hills State is a Division II school that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
