Wyatt Trembly of Dubois has been sharp as a tack in wrestling this year and made it  back-to-back state titles at 170 pounds in 2A. Trembly defeated Jake Schlattmann of Greybull/Riverside 6-0 to take a spot on the podium and win 45 out of 46 matches this season. On the road to the championship match, Trembly recorded 3 first-period pins so it was certainly dialed in for the state championships in Casper.

A year ago, Trembly won his 1st state title at 170 in 2A with a mark of 40-4 and as a freshman in 2021, he placed 2nd at 152, going 32-9. With his senior season ahead of him, the sky seems to be the limit. By the way, he's an all-state football player for the Rams who rushed for over 2500 yards and 43 touchdowns this past season. He also placed in the top 4 in 3 different individual events at the 1A State Track Meet back in May

We caught up with Trembly on Saturday night and a lot of hard work paid off.
