Wyoming 1A Boys State Track Day 1 [VIDEO]

The State High School track meet kicked off on Thursday in Casper with some relatively pleasant weather conditions. In the 1A Boys section, Jarom Davidson of Burlington won the 3200 meters with a time is 10.26.99. Lain Mitchelson of Farson was 2nd and his teammate Cree Jones was 3rd. Upton captured the 1600 sprint medley in 3.50.56. The Bobcat team was comprised of Jess Claycomb, Eli Jones, Cam Davis and Dillon Barritt. In the 1A boys field events, Sam Schneider of Saratoga placed first in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 8 and half inches. Dontae Garza of Burlington was 2nd and Caleb Smith of Midwest took 3rd. In the team standings after the first day, Burlington leads with 24 points, Upton and Saratoga are tied for 2nd with 16. We have a short video for you. Enjoy!
