It wasn't easy but the Upton Bobcats won the 1A Boys track championship in some miserable weather in Casper as they rang up 123.33 points to edge out Burlington. The Huskies finished a close 2nd with 104.083 points with Cokeville 3rd with 83.5 The only events on Saturday were on the track and Kaden Dower from Western Heritage repeated as the state champion in the 100 meter dash with a winning time of 11.65. He also was victorious in the 200 with a clocking of 23.68, an event he took 2nd in last year. Over in the 400, Shane McGraw of Hanna-Elk Mountain took the podium in 50.52 and he took 2nd in the 200 and earned a first place finish in the 800 earlier in the meet Jarom Davidson of Burlington won 2 of the distance races as he won the 1600 on Saturday in 4.37.45. He captured the 3200 on Thursday. In the hurdle events, Conor McGraw of Hanna hit the tape first in the 110 in 15.32 and won the 300 with a time of 41.65. Last year, Conor McGraw won the 200 and the 300 hurdles so those brothers were just stellar in the meet. We some video to show of the track events in the rain and show on Saturday. Enjoy!
