The Upton Bobcats are holding on to an 11 point lead heading into the final day of competition at the 1A State Track meet in Casper. Burlington is in 2nd place and Saratoga is running 3rd. Individually, Shane McGraw of Hanna ran 2.00.22 to win the 800 meters with Jarom Davidson of Burlington 2nd and Ethan Bird of Cokeville 3rd.In the field events, Farson's Clancy Gines took the podium in the shot put with a toss of 45 feet 3 inches. Reese Woodard of Upton threw 146-1 to win the discus. Upton also went 1-2 in the pole vault with Brayden Bruce clearing the bar at 12 feet even. Eli Jones was 2nd at 11-6. In the 1A boys triple jump, Burlington's Dontae Garza set the class record with a leap of 46 feet 6 inches. Sam Schneider of Saratoga was 2nd and Gideon George of Burlington.
