The Big Horn Rams rang up points in nearly every event to win the 2A State Track Championship over the weekend in Casper. Big Horn took first with 168.5 points with Glenrock taking 2nd with 96.5. Rocky Mountain was 3rd with 76. The Rams picked up 20 points in the meet on Saturday alone from sprinter Carson Bates, who won the 100 meter dash in 11.34 and also took the 200 in 23.07. Tucker Bopp of Glenrock ended his high school career with a state championship in the 400 with a time if 49.71. Bopp was the gold medalist in this event a year ago. Big Horn was equally dominate in the hurdles with Kyler Ostler winning both events, taking the 110 in 15.36 and the 300 in 40.35. In Saturdays 1600, Tongue River's Cooper Vollmar was the runaway winner with a time of 4.47.3. Give credit to these athletes as the weather was less than favorable on Saturday. Enjoy our video
