Pine Bluffs increased their lead at the 2A Girls State Track Meet in Casper on Friday thanks to a 1-2 finish in the pole vault as Kendra Sloan cleared 10-6 for the gold and Maddie Fornstrum went 10-0 for the silver. One of the up and coming stars in track is Carleigh Reish from Tongue River who won the long jump at 16-6. Hailey Jones of Moorcroft won the 800 meters for the 2nd year in a row with a time of 2.20.47. Wind River's Lue Herbert was 2nd and Emily Taper of Glenrock was 3rd. In the 2A Girls team standings with one day remaining, Pine Bluffs has 104.5 points, Kemmerer is 2nd with 56 and Wright is running 3rd with 36. We have a short video of Friday's action. Enjoy!
