Wyoming 3A Boys State Track Meet Day 2

Mountain View will try and hang on to the lead at the 3A Boys State Track Meet but Powell and Lovell are within striking distance. Heading into the final day, Mountain View has 77 points with Powell coming in with 60 and Lovell hanging around with 57. In the 800 meter race on the track, that was won by Powell's Jay Cox by a considerable margin. His winning time was 1.59.68,the only guy in the field to break 2 minutes. Ezekiel Newman of Lovell took 2nd and Brady Brooks of Douglas was 3rd. In the field events, Dylan Preator gave his Powell team 10 points with a win in the triple jump. His best jump was 44-5.75. Buffalo's Marc Woodahl went 22 feet even to take the podium in the long jump. Mountain View freshman Conner Micheli cleared 15-2 to win the pole vault going away.
