Casper-Kelly Walsh vaulted to the lead in the 4A Boys State Track meet with an impressive win in the 4x100 meter relay so after 2 days of competition, the Trojans have 68 points, Sheridan is 2nd with 53 and Natrona is running 3rd with 49. NC's Hunter Brown was the long jump winner as he cleared 6-6. Brown finished 2nd in the triple jump behind Jefferson Danso of Cheyenne East who had a leap of 48 feet and a half an inch to take the gold. Ryan Kienzle of Thunder Basin continued his fine season in the weight events with a win in the discus with a toss of 169 feet even, which easily overwhelmed the field. Sheridan freshman Ryan Karajanis cleared 14 feet to take the victory in the pole vault. On the track, Evanston's  Tyrell Halliday ran 1.59.82 to win the 800.
