The Girls State Track and Field Meet for 2024 had some fantastic athletes with a few continuing their track careers at the college level. By the same token, stars were emerging from the underclassmen ranks and look no further than sophomore Addison Barnes of Cokeville. She won 4 events in 1A, the 200, the 100 hurdles, the 300 hurdles, and the high jump.

In 2A Laynee Walker from Kemmerer was a 3-event winner as she took both hurdle races plus the pole vault. Melody ZumBrunnen of Lusk took the podium in the 100, 200, and the long jump. In 3A, Mountain View's Jaylee Antonino won the 100 hurdles, the high jump, and the triple jump. Finally, in 4A  Taliah Morris of Cheyenne East took 1st place in the 100, 200, and the long jump.

Cokeville won the 1A team championship with Southeast 2nd and Upton 3rd. Kemmerer was the 2A champs with Big Piney 2nd and Lusk 3rd. Lander took to honors in 3A followed by Worland and Buffalo with Sheridan winning the 4A crown followed by Cheyenne East and Kelly Walsh.
