It’s time for the Class 4A East Regional Soccer Championship tournament in Sheridan and Big Horn on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The top seed has a first-round bye and has automatically qualified for next week’s state tournament in Rock Springs. Those two are the Thunder Basin girls and Cheyenne Central boys.

The other six teams play a first-round loser-out match on Thursday. Then, on Friday and Saturday, the four seeds for next week’s state tournament will be determined by the remaining four teams.

Final Score: Game 6: Cheyenne East 1 Laramie 0 - semifinal - T-Birds got the game-winner from Paskett in the 9th minute.

Saturday, May 13: (at Sheridan HS)

Final Score: Game 7: Thunder Basin 4 Cheyenne East 0 (Championship) - Bolts nab the top seed and T-Birds will be the No. 2 at state next week.

Final Score: Game 11: Laramie 3 Sheridan 2 - OT; Plainsmen get the No. 3 seed and Broncs will be the 4 at state.
