Cody Wright from Dubois Signs with North Idaho for Basketball

Cody Wright of Dubois was a dominant basketball player back in 2022 as the Rams made it to the 1A State Championship game. After high school, Wright went on a 2 year LDS mission and now will resume his basketball career at North Idaho College.

Wright started his prep basketball career in Celina, Texas and played his senior year in Dubois in 2022. He was an All-State selection and led 1A in scoring averaging 24 points a game. He also led 1A in rebounding with 9 a game and his season best was a 44 point, 16 rebound performance vs. Ten Sleep. At 6-5, he could change the complexion of games as Dubois went 22-3 that season, losing to Upton in the 1A State Championship game 58-51.

He also competed in track and field and took 3rd in the high jump at the 1A Outdoor Championships in '22 and took 5th in the triple jump.

North Idaho is a junior college located in Couer d'Alene.
