Parity is evident in at least one class in the latest/coaches media polls, while the other classes have settled down, ahead of the post-season.

4A is perhaps the wide open of all the classes. Two weeks ago, Laramie wasn't even ranked, and now the Plainsmen are the new #1. They will have their hands full this weekend and next. First up, is a first place battle in the East, when they host #3 Sheridan. The following day, Laramie hosts an unranked Gillette team, that has suddenly shown signs of life. Kelly Walsh climbs up to #2 after embarrassing former #1, and now #4 Natrona. The #5 ranking is shared between 3 teams. Riverton will try to stake a better claim, if they can win home vs. both Casper schools. Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central also carry the #5 ranking, heading into their Storey Gym battle vs. each other. Even unranked Evanston has a chance to try to get into the rankings again. The Red Devils, like the Wolverines, also host both Casper teams this weekend.

For the 3A teams, everyone is looking up at Worland for now. The Warriors are the unanimous #1, and have their next 3 games in the comfort of their own home. Glenrock and Rawlins are solid at #2 and #3. Lander drops one spot to #4, after losing home against the new #5 Powell, but manages to stay ahead of the Panthers for now. Not much is on the schedule this weekend, as far as ranked team vs. ranked team goes.

Like 3A, both the 2A and 1A ranks have a new #5. Spots 1-4 stay the same. 2A has Pine Bluffs at #1, followed by Wyoming Indian, Rocky Mountain and Lyman. Wind River is back in the rankings, and hosts the Chiefs this Friday, in a game that will have a lot of say in terms of seeding for the regional tournaments.

1A will be the quietest class this weekend. Teams are finishing up conference business, and all the ranked teams, play unranked opponents. Burlington holds at #1, and don't let their record deceive you. They have a few losses, but all of them are against non-1A opponents. The Huskies are about to complete their second straight regular season, by going undefeated vs. 1A competition. The #2-#4 rankings are the same from last week. Little Snake River, Kaycee and Lingle-Ft. Laramie in that order. Upton is back in at #5.
