Bad weather and roads interfered with a few big games last week, but a few upsets managed to happen and shake up some of the new coaches and media rankings.

Things have settled some in 4A, but 1 game in Cheyenne and Gillette this Friday could either stir the pot or leave things where they are. #2 East and #4 Central clash in the first of at last 2 matchups. Campbell County and Thunder Basin were tied for #5 last week, but that tie has been unbroken, after TB stumbled twice. The Camels and Bolts meet on Friday as well. Elsewhere, #1 Sheridan and #3 Kelly Walsh retain their rankings heading into the last weekend of January.

The East is starting to become dominant in 3A, as they occupy 4 of the top 5 spots. The top 4 are unchanged...Buffalo, Lander, Douglas, and Rawlins in that order. Torrington is back in at #5, and are eyeing the Outlaws this weekend. It's been awhile since the TrailBlazers have won a game in this rivalry.

The game of interest in 2A this week will be in the northeast as #4 Big Horn visits #2 Wright. Other than that...not much is scheduled involving #1 Pine Bluffs, #3 Wyoming Indian and #5 Glenrock, who is back in by 1 vote ahead of Rocky Mountain.

Two upsets last week, created a big shake-up in 1A. Farson-Eden is now on top after winning at former #1, now #2 Encampment. The Pronghorns have another test this weekend as they visit #5 Cokeville, who fell last week at Saratoga...now ranked #4. Upton took advantage of last week's craziness to move up to #3.
