The fifth week of the boys’ swimming & diving season has teams spread across the state with various types of competitions.

There multi-team meets in Big Piney, Cody, Evanston, Green River, Powell, and Sheridan.

Tuesday, Jan. 4: 

Cheyenne Central 120 Cheyenne South 59 – dual

 

Buffalo 109 Kelly Walsh 77 – dual

Thursday, Jan. 6: 

DOUGLAS TRIANGULAR – Douglas, Newcastle, Rawlins - double duals

Scores: Rawlins 105 Newcastle 52; Rawlins 110 Douglas 63; Douglas 91 Newcastle 61

Sublette County 108 Kemmerer 50 – dual

SC's Hunter Scott wins the 100 free and 100 back. Kemmerer's Aiden Runnion won the 200 free and 100 breast races. Sublette County won 8 of the 11 events.

Friday, Jan. 7: 

CHEYENNE CENTRAL & LANDER AT KELLY WALSH – duals

Scores: Lander 127 Kelly Walsh 50; Cheyenne Central 119 Kelly Walsh 59; Lander 111 Cheyenne Central 69

 

Riverton 91 Cody 81 – dual

Bradley Fick (200/500 free), Bradley McKenzie (IM/Breaststroke), and Joseph Killpack (fly/back) won 2-events each for the Broncs.

LARAMIE AT CAMPBELL COUNTY & THUNDER BASIN – duals

Scores: Laramie 120 Thunder Basin 37; Laramie 116 Campbell County 41

Plainsmen won all 12 events. Mace Spiker Miller (200 Free/100 Back), Josh Lui (IM/Breaststroke), and Kody Mathill (50 Free/Fly) won 2 events each.

POWELL TRIANGULAR – Douglas, Powell, Worland

Team Scores: Powell 465, Worland 340, Douglas 195

Powell's Nate Johnston (200 Free/100 Breaststroke) and Ru Parker (Fly/100 Free) won 2 events apiece. Worland's Traeten Quigley won 2 events (50/500 Free), as well.

ROCK SPRINGS INVITE (at Green River HS Pool) – Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Rock Springs, Sublette County

Team Scores: Rock Springs 263, Green River 249, Evanston 212, Sublette County 208, Lyman 160, Kemmerer 149

Green River's Brady Young was a 2-event winner in the distance freestyle races.

SHERIDAN PRE-INVITE – Cheyenne East, Natrona County, Sheridan

Scores: Sheridan 136 Natrona County 11; Sheridan 113 East 42; East 125 NC 22

Sheridan won all 12 events in the meet.

Saturday, Jan. 8: 

EVANSTON INVITE – Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Sublette County

Team Scores: Rock Springs 245, Evanston 211, Rawlins 187, Green River 185, Lyman 171, Sublette County 164, Kemmerer 131

Jon Spicer of Rock Springs won the 200 free and 50 free. Jaxon Nicholls from Evanston won the fly and backstroke.

GENE DOZAH INVITE IN POWELL – Cody, Douglas, Lander, Powell, Riverton, Worland

Team Scores: Lander 419.5, Powell 241, Riverton 191, Worland 181, Cody 144, Douglas 86.5

Lander's Kulow and Blackburn win 2 events each and helped the Tigers win 10 events in total.

 

SHERIDAN INVITE – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne East, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Team Scores: Laramie 488, Buffalo 403, Sheridan 400.5, Kelly Walsh 272, Thunder Basin 145, Campbell County 122.5, Cheyenne East 119, Natrona County 2

Mace Spiker-Miller won the 50 Free and 100 Fly. Buffalo's Brogan Byrum won the 200 Free and 100 Free.
