Brady Benne of Chey. Central Repeats as the 4A Champion in Diving

Brady Benne of Cheyenne Central takes diving seriously, competing practically all year around in either high school or the club level. Benne won the 4A State Championship in diving for the 2nd straight year, accumulating 505.05 points at the State Meet in Gillette over the weekend. Benne has dramatically improved from his freshman championship season as he scored 460.15 points a year ago at State

Benne is a 3-time qualifier for the Junior Nationals in Diving and also qualified for the USA Diving Nationals out of Zone E. The sky is the limit for this sophomore and we caught up with him on Saturday at the Campbell County Aquatic Center. The prelims and the finals at the State Meet was a great way to wrap up the season.
