The girls’ high school swimming and diving season begins this weekend, and throughout the season meets are limited by teams and participants.

Under COVID restrictions, the big meets in one venue are gone for the 2020 season. The maximum number of teams at one competition is four, according to guidelines adopted by the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA). There is also a cap on the number of swimmers and divers that can compete and that is 80.

This means several meets will be taking place on Friday and Saturday to start a new season.
