Wyoming High School Girls Swimming Week 1 Scoreboard for Aug 28-29, 2026

The 2026 Wyoming High School girls’ swimming and diving season starts this weekend with two days of competition. The defending state champions are Lander in Class 3A and Jackson in Class 4A. The first weekend of the year eases teams into competition. Saturday is the key day, when pentathlons give swimmers and divers a chance to qualify for the state swim meet in Gillette. Only three pools will host events: Lander, Laramie and Rawlins.

LARAMIE RELAYS – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Newcastle, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Team Scores = Central 518, Laramie 444, Thunder Basin 432, Sheridan 322, Green River 264, East 254, Natrona County 232, Kelly Walsh 216, Campbell County 212, South 116, Newcastle 34.

RAWLINS PRE-INVITE – Buffalo, Douglas, Evanston, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs.

BRUCE GRESLY PENTATHLON IN LANDER – Cody, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Powell, Riverton, Sublette County, Worland.

Vayda Havens of Lander took 1st place. 

DALE ROSS PENTATHLON IN RAWLINS – Buffalo, Douglas, Evanston, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs.

The overall pentathlon winner was Milan Monterastellio of Buffalo.

Team Scores = Douglas 179, Buffalo 172, Rock Springs 111, Lyman 89, Rawlins 64, Evanston 13.

LARAMIE PENTATHLON – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Newcastle, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Addy DeLay of Cheyenne Central won the pentathlon.
