Natrona’s Dallen Atnip Will Pursue Golf at Rocky Mt. College
Golf is one of the hardest sports to play, with countless intangibles and scenarios. Natrona's Dallen Atnip is ready for the next level on the links, signing a letter of intent with Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. At the 2024 4A State Tournament, Atnip had a solid 7th-place finish, carding an opening round 70 and backing that up with a 79. His 149 total was 15 strokes off the pace in a very competitive field.
In his junior season in 2023, Atnip was 26th at the 4A State Tournament with rounds of 86 and 84 and took 29th as a sophomore carding rounds of 89-78. So, he has displayed exponential improvement, which is the product of hard work.
Atnip is also a competitive alpiner skiier for Natrona and was 6th in the slalom at the 2024 State meet and 25th in the giant slalom. He placed 12th in the GS as a junior. Rocky Mountain College is an NAIA institution that competes in the Frontier Conference.
